What’s On

Here’s an update on what’s happening at Community Wellness and where you can find us in the coming months.

We are continuing to run our Community Connection sessions once a month in Cefn Mawr, on a voluntary basis. These will continue at the George Edwards Hall. Please do keep checking our Facebook page for any updates.

Even though we aren’t able to run these sessions on a regular basis at the moment, our amazing community in Cefn Mawr continue to meet on Thursdays, usually at 11am at the Chapel Tea Rooms in Pontcysyllte. Please do let us know if you’re not on the community-led WhatsApp group and we can share your number with the administrators.

The Community Wellness team are working hard behind the scenes to find funding opportunities, and are also liaising with a variety of organisations across the public and private sectors. We believe that the learnings and teachings at the heart of our work have a wide-reaching relevance to all of society. With that in mind, as well as focusing on community wellness, we are also offering sessions to benefit health and care workforce wellness, and organisational wellness. We have started two pilots with Reaseheath College and Blue Cross; and we are testing offers for helping and caring professionals, especially across the public sector. We are also in regular talks with academic professionals with a like-minded passion to deepen and share our combined knowledge. Within all of this work, one of our key aims is to be able to increase our community connection sessions at the first available opportunity. We are also making arrangements to introduce a Community Wellness monthly membership offer.

We are also delighted to announce that Karen, Leigh Ann and Nan will be running a private workshop on authenticity and intuition at the Clwyd Special Riding Centre in Llanfynydd on Tuesday, June 30. The sessions run at 1pm to 4pm or 6pm to 9pm, for £95 per person. More information can be found at: https://hellohumankind.wixsite.com/professional-web-sol/events

As always, thank you for your continued support. We really value our wonderful community.
